Rødberg Tunnel

A project started in Bristol by Norwegian street art follower Ingrid, who approached me with the idea of painting a tunnel in the small village of Røberg where she grew up. The mural design was based around the history and wildlife in Rødberg - the local power stations, Rødberg Nore 1 in operation 1928 and Nore 2 in operation since 1946, utilise waterflow from the Rødberg Dam. I split the colour themes into two - red and blue, a hint at the seasons and the water and land elements so apparent in the beautiful landscape.
